An Open Software Ecosystem to Create New Network Applications

Unlike in the compute and storage domains, the developer community has been unable to contribute to and advance networking technology because incumbent vendors have limited that ability by delivering networking functions via closed, proprietary systems.

At Stateless, we’ve taken a completely new approach for creating networking functions.

We started from scratch using standard off-the-shelf components and designed a software-centric platform that doesn’t bury the programmability underneath a proprietary operating system.

Our mission is to unlock the power of networking by fully exposing open APIs and open-source networking software that isn’t hidden behind proprietary controls or locked away in preprogrammed ASICs.

While we’re proud of the accomplishments we’ve made in this domain, we know there are many more advances that are possible. We hope to see the community generate incredible ideas and innovation once users have access to the full power of the network.
